How to machine the shell hole of gear pump
There are two holes on the shell of gear pump, which requires high machining precision. In the medium and small batch production, general machine tools and special tooling are generally used for processing, which is difficult to meet the accuracy requirements.
Gear pump from the processing methods, cutting tools, fixtures to improve, better solve this problem, so that the processing quality is stable and reliable. After repeated tests and improvements. At present, the following processing method is adopted: the two holes are processed after the two end face and 4 - φ 9 hole processing process, and the accuracy of a diagonal hole in 4 - φ 9 is improved to φ 9h8 for positioning. Then the r18.41 and φ 12.5 holes are processed by three processes. Working procedure: turning r18.41 hole to r18.31 + 0.065 + 0.035 (r18.41 has casting bottom hole), drill φ 12.5 hole to φ 11.5, and then boring to φ 12.4 ± 0.01. The second process: design special compound reamer, ream r18.41 and φ 12.5 coaxial holes on the lathe (because of the low rotation accuracy of the drilling machine spindle, the drilling machine cannot be used). Ream the large hole to r18.41 + 0.055 + 0.025, and ream the two small holes to the size of 12.5s7. There are two holes on the shell of gear pump, which requires high machining precision. The tool is installed on the main shaft (without chuck), and the end of the tool is provided with a guide support on the fixture. The fixture is mounted on the carriage (remove the tool holder), and the fixture is graded by a straight line. The third process: use floating reamer to ream one of the small holes to the size requirement of φ 12.5f7 on the drilling machine. Fixture scheme and structure: select the G-plane and two φ 9 diagonal holes on the pump body as the positioning reference, and use two pins to locate one side on the fixture.
Gear pump adopts linear indexing form. Clamp the parts with two hook clamps. The clamp 1 is of angle iron shape and is mounted on the carriage with screws and taper pins. The movable dividing block 2 is matched with the clamp 1 through the dovetail guide rail, and is locked with the bolt 3. A cylindrical pin 4 and a trimming pin 9 are installed on the dividing block 2. Through these two pins and plane P, the parts are positioned on the dividing block 2 and pressed down with two hook shaped pressing plates 14. The support seat 6 is used to support the end of the tool. Use hand pull type cylindrical pin to divide and fix mechanism. In order to facilitate operation, the workpiece is installed on the right side of the fixture. Holes are provided on the clamping block and the dividing block, so that the cutter can enter the workpiece for processing. In order to prevent chips from entering the joint surface of parts 1 and 2, an anti chip sleeve is installed in the hole of clamp 1. There are two holes on the shell of gear pump, which requires high machining precision.
